Workshop History

For two decades I have had the opportunity to work with aspiring writers in a wide range of settings. Paddling 36′ canoes around the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior, snorkeling the reefs off of the Yucatan, camped on the shores of Yellowstone Lake, lodging in rustic cabins in Yellowstone Park’s Lamar Valley . . . Courses have varied from an afternoon session to several weeks, and as long as a semester. I have had the honor of working with a number of outstanding organizations, many of which continue to thrive and offer learning opportunities. They include the Yellowstone Association, The Greater Yellowstone Coalition, Living Adventure, the Writer’s Voice, Northland College, and the Wonderlust Program at Montana State University, Bozeman.

Tutoring

I offer custom tutoring for aspiring writers. Schedules and rates are negotiated on an individual basis. Generally, rates start at $50/hour. Arrangements vary from several sessions to ongoing interactions over periods of months. Contact me to initiate the process.
